Obituary of Chad Andrews

ANDREWS, CHAD

FEB 7, 1969 - APRIL 5, 2024

Friday February 7th at 7:14 am, Chad graced this world with his presence in Prince Albert, SK. He grew up in small towns of Canwood, Blaine Lake (1971), Speers (1973), and lastly Mayfair (1980). He graduated from Mayfair Central School in 1987. 

After graduation he moved with 2 schoolmates to Moose Jaw, SK to attend SIAST.  Chad then moved to North Battleford for a short period before moving to Saskatoon in 1990. He worked for Provincial Galvanizing until he relocated to Lloydminster SK in 1995. This is where he started his career in the oilfield on service rigs; working his way up to Rig Manager. He made a career shift in 2014 starting with Secure as an Equipment Operator for the Tulliby Landfill.

In early 2012, Chad met his soul mate, Rebecca Eaton, and in 2015, they joined their lives in Tulliby Lake, AB. On Aug 12, 2017, in a beautiful outdoor ceremony at Lea Park, Chad and Rebecca were married. They spent 12 wonderful years together, living each day to the fullest, making many cherished memories. 

Some of Chad's favorite things were Nascar, his houseboat, fishing, traveling, concerts, family gatherings, road trips, and of course his dog, Molly.

Chad exited this world peacefully with his loving wife by his side on April 5 in Lloydminster Hospital at the age of 55 years.

Chad will be remembered and always cherished by his wife, Rebecca; step children, Bradley, Natalie, & Zander; parents, Dorothy and Gary Andrews; brother, Sheldon (Gayla) and their children Evan and Cass; sister, Terra Andrews and her son, Justin (Brianne) and their children Abigail and Cameron; father and mother in Law, Lynn and Elaine Eaton; brother-in-law: Delbert (Verna) Eaton and their children Justine, Chiara, Alex and Savannah; sister-in-law: Jessica Trelford (Andrew) and their children, Lucas, Riley and Aubrey; brother-in-law, Lindsay Eaton (Lindsey) and their children, Jakub and Zoe; and life long friends, Stuart “Chewy” Grigor (Misty).

Chad was predeceased by; his sister, Sharon; grandparents, Gabe & Hazel Andrews; grandparents, Tom & Martha Thompson; niece, Éva Eaton; and nephew, Dougie Eaton.

A Celebration of Life is being planned for a later date.
